A musical thriller, Sweeney Todd, (played by David Cummings) a once mild mannered barber, returns to London after a 15 year exile ordered by the corrupt Judge Turpin (Warren Langworthy). 

Finding his wife gone and his daughter under Turpins guardianship, Sweeney plans his revenge against the man who destroyed his life. He takes up with his former landlady Mrs. Lovett (played by Diane Enright) proprietress of a failing meat pie shop, and sets in motion the grisly events that earn him the title: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street. 

The cast includes Jessica Sorvick as Beggar Woman, Lindsay Mapes as Johanna, Scott Willis as Anthony Hope, Matt Henry as Beadle Bamford, Kyle McCurry as Adolfo Pirelli, and Evan Price as Toby. The ensemble includes Matthew Pyles, Ellen Robertson, Adam LaPorte, Miranda Johnson, Blake Holiday, Delanie Sullivan, Jeffrey LaPorte, Katie Boothe, Connor McCabe, Rachael Nichols, Sam Evans, and Meg OConnor.  Directed by Weslie Webster with musical direction by Robert Hiers, the production crew includes Mary Wilson, Murray Martin, Becky Coutras and Lillie Vaught. 

The performance schedule for all shows is Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. and Sundays at 2:00 p.m. Tickets are $15 with discounts available for students, seniors and groups and  may be purchased by calling the Arts Center box office at 615-563-(ARTS) 2787 or 1-800-235-9073. The Arts Center is located on 1424 John Bragg Highway, just west of the town of Woodbury, approximately 20 minutes from Murfreesboro, Manchester, and McMinnville and one hour southeast of Nashville. Box office hours are 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday.
