Survey team coming Friday

An outbuilding on Roach Hollow Road was leveled by the winds.

High winds ripped through Cannon County early Wednesday morning uprooting a number of trees and damaging some structures.

The heaviest damage was on Roach Hollow Road with two barns damaged along with some homes. Trees were also downed on East High Street and Riverview Drive off Murfreesboro Road.

Trees were downed on Auburntown Road as well.

Thursday NWS Damage Survey teams viewed damage at several locations across Middle Tennessee.

The first team will complete a survey of damage in Robertson County that was suspended Wednesday due to darkness. They will then turn to damage in Northern Davidson and Ashland City in Cheatham County.

The second team will look at damage in near Lebanon in Wilson County and northeast into Trousdale County with portions of Macon and Clay Counties.

A third team will survey northern and southern Rutherford County as well as Williamson County. If time permits, a survey will be conducted in northern Maury County.

An additional survey team will be sent out Friday to look at damage in Cannon County and possibly Coffee County.
