Stoetzel Seeks Re-election To Board Of Commissioner
The Cannon Courier has been authorized by the candidate, Bob Stoetzel, to announce his re-election bid as the 5th District Commissioner in the upcoming August 5th election

Stoetzel is seeking re-election to the Board of Commissioners representing the 5th District encompassing all of the Woodbury City Limit. Stoetzel has held this position for the last 4 years.

In announcing his bid for re-election Stoetzel says that “he has enjoyed serving the 5th District and appreciates all the people who contact him when they think that something needs to be done by the commission.

“The voters were real attentive to the issues especially when it came to allowing beer to be sold in the city limit, although I had no say in what the city alderman did on that matter the people came forward when there was a possibility of selling beer on Sunday in the county; they made known their position on that matter to me before the commission met and I voted their wishes with a no vote.”

Stoetzel says he has always voted the way that he felt was best for the 5th district and Cannon County as a whole.

“I am not perfect by any means, and I err in judgment sometimes, but I try to err on the side of compassion and conservatism.”

Stoetzel asks for your vote in the upcoming August 5th election.

“I ask that you consider me again for this position, if, you feel I have done the job that you wanted me to do. I will be seeing you around town and I will be asking for your vote, if by some chance I miss you I am asking for that vote now.”
