Steven Paul Melton, age 62, of Woodbury passed away Friday, January 15, 2016 at Stones River Hospital E/R. He was a native of Cannon County.

Survivors include his sons, Adam & Alan Melton, both of Woodbury; Mother, Wilma Jo Mason Melton of Woodbury; Siblings, Donna (Bob) Schneider of Louisville, KY; Roy (Marcel) Melton of Woodbury; and Paula Jo (Stephen) Warren of Woodbury; Nieces & Nephews, Angie, Chloe Rob, Josh, & Taylor.

He was preceded in death by his father, Paul Melton; and mother of his children, Susan Elizabeth Markum Melton.

Mr. Melton was a member of the Church of Christ. Steve had many and varied jobs around Cannon County with 10 years at Farmer's Co-Op.

Funeral services will be 11 AM Monday, January 18, 2016 in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Bros. Herb Alsup & Daniel Hayes officiating. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 4:00 to 8:00 PM Sunday, January 17, 2016.
