Steven Dwight Phillips

Steven Dwight Phillips, age 57, of Woodbury passed away Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital. He was a native of Cannon Co.

Survivors include his wife of 25 years, Connie Simpson Phillips of Woodbury; Son, Matthew (Michelle) Phillips of Woodbury; Daughters, Samantha (Cody) Hurley of Woodbury & Lori Phillips of Columbia; Grandchildren, Austin & Anna Phillips, Addie Hurley, Kameron & Kaden Cates, & Kylee Martin; Siblings, Larry (Brenda) Phillips of Woodbury, Carolyn (Walt) Angst of Murfreesboro, Rita Thompson of Woodbury, Vicky (Mike) Melton of Woodbury & Michael Phillips of Woodbury; and Mother-in-law, Jo Helen Simpson.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Everett & Alice Bailey Phillips; Sister, Phyllis Summers; and Father-in-law, Frank Simpson.

He was a member of Bethlehem Church of Christ and worked at Crane Interiors. Mr. Phillips loved to make people laugh and he enjoyed cooking and riding horses.

Funeral services will be 2 PM Saturday, February 25, 2017 in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Bro. Boyd Barker officiating. Interment will follow at Cherry Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 2 to 9 PM Friday, February 24, 2017 at the funeral home.
