Stepp Pleads Guilty To Public Intoxication



Mark Dennis Stepp, 1137 W. Main St., Woodbury, was charged with Public Intoxication on Feb. 19 by Cannon County Sheriff’s Deputy M.J. Parsley. Deputy Parsley responded to a residence on Hollis Creek Rd. following a report of a disturbance. He found Stepp to be in an intoxicated state, unsteady on his feet, his speech was slurred and he had an odor of an intoxicating beverage about his person.

Stepp pled guilty to the charge in Cannon County General Sessions Court on Feb. 21 and was given a partially suspended sentence of 30 days in the county jail, ordered to serve 2 days oin jail, placed on probation for 30 days, fined $25 and assessed court costs.

• Patrick Dewayne Clark, 6315 Burts Hollow Rd., Christiana, was charged with Domestic Assault on Feb. 19 by Woodbury Patrolman Brent Brock. Clark allegedly went to a residence on W. Adams St. and hit the back door with his fist, knocking the glass and frame off the door. Bond was set at $2,500. Initial court date is March 20.

• Elisabeth Ann Harris, 108 E. High St., Woodbury, was charged with Filing A False Report on Feb. 14 by Woodbury Police Sgt. Lowell Womack. On Dec. 31, Harris filed a Domestic Assault charge against Roy Foust. On Feb. 14 during a General Sessions Court hearing for Foust, Harris admitted to Sgt. Womack that the incident did not happen. Bond was set at $1,000. Initial court date is March 13.

• Gina Elaine Howse, aka Gina Lowe, was charged with Fraudulent Receipt Of An EBT Card on Feb. 17 by Woodbury Patrolman John Fesmire. Howse was found to be in possession of an EBT card not belonging to her during a consensual search of her vehicle after it was stopped for a nonfunctioning headlight. Howse stated she was shopping for the named card owner since the owner was sick and didn’t have a car to drive. A release citation was issued. Initial court date is April 24.
