Stanley J. Yule of Grandview, Mo., passed away January 15, 2010, at his home surrounded by his family.

Visitation was 2-4 p.m. Sunday, January 17, 2010, at the First Baptist Church of Grandview.

Funeral services was at 2:30 p.m. Monday, January 18, 2010, at the church.

Interment with military honors was at 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 20, 2010, in Leavenworth National Cemetery.

The family suggests memorial contributions to the First Baptist Church of Grandview's College Fund.

Stanley was born February 20, 1935, in Cannon City Township, Minn., to Roger and Gladys (Warmington) Yule.

He lived in the Grandview, MO. area for 42 years. He retired from the U.S. Air Force 442nd Tactical Fighter Wing after 40 years of service as a technical sergeant.

He was a member of First Baptist Church of Grandview, where he served as deacon.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Marvin, and a sister, Jo Ann.

Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Wanda Harris Yule (native of Auburntown); three daughters, Marsha Kraft (Chuck) of Cave Creek, Ariz., Robin Burkhead (Cliff) of Peculiar, Mo., and Donna (Jim) Stanfield of Grandview, Mo.; four brothers, Willis Yule of Faribault, Minn., Franklin Yule of Hastings, Minn., Tyrone Yule of Sun City, Ariz., and Dennis Yule of Greenlane, Pa.; three sisters, Patty Batzel of Faribault, Minn., Priscilla Bloomer of New Brighton, Minn., and Phyllis Chalmers of La Mesa, Calif.; five grandchildren; one great grandson, and numerous nieces and nephews.
