A run-in between a father and son led to disorderly conduct charges being filed recently.

Cannon County Sheriff’s Deputy Steve McMillen responded to 1157 Manustown Rd. on May 26 for a report of a domestic incident in progress that involved a gun.

Upon arrival he spoke with Johnny Webb, who stated he was in his bedroom when he heard his son Alexander arguing with his girlfriend.

Johnny Webb said he came out of his bedroom and it was at that point he called 911 and Alexander stated to his father to shoot him.

Johnny Webb stated he then went and got his gun and pointed it at Alexander, as he was in fear for his safety. Johnny Webb also stated both parties had been drinking prior to the incident.

Deputy McMillen placed Alexander Webb under arrest on a charge of disorderly conduct and transported him to the Cannon County Jail where he was booked.
