Lionette senior standout Abbey Sissom has been named a Class AA Miss Basketball Finalist.

MTSU signee Abbey Sissom was named a finalist for the Class AA Miss Basketball award for the third straight year Friday afternoon, as announced by the Tennessee Schools Athletic Association.

The senior standout has helped lead No. 3 Cannon County to a 28-3 record and champions of District 8-AA.

Cannon County faces either Upperman or Smith County in the District 8-AA Tournament semifinals at White County High School Saturday at 7 p.m.
