Short Mtn Presidential Poll

On Monday, February 29, Short Mountain School, grades 4-8, participated in a U.S. Presidential Mock Election. Students first learned about the election process in their social studies classes. They gave speeches and made posters to support their candidates. Finally, they assembled in the gym to cast their votes. The results of the voting are as follows:

REPUBLICAN: Donald Trump: 84.4%; Ted Cruz: 9.4%; Marco Rubio: 6.2%

DEMOCRAT: Hillary Clinton: 16.7%; Bernie Sanders: 83.3%
