Short Mountain Cultures is celebrating it's second year of serving Cannon County with fermented, organic, and whole food options from their manufacturing kitchen and grocery store shelves! They are located at 1424 John Bragg Highway, adjacent to The Arts Center of Cannon county.

Short Mountain Cultures makes many varieties of sauerkraut, kimchi, kvass(fermented, probiotic/nutrient rich beverage), tempeh(a plant based, whole food, protein), and hot sauce, with plans to start making traditional sour dill pickles when the cucumber harvest begins. They source produce and products from trusted Middle Tennessee farms and producers which are part of the Tennessee Department of Agriculture's Pick Tennessee program. www.picktnproducts.org/

Stop by the store for a sample of sauerkraut, some farm fresh eggs or cream top milk and see what's new this week on the grocery shelves! They are also taking suggestions of products that local residents would like to see available at the shop.
