Shelby Mae Tate Vickers

Shelby Mae Tate Vickers, 92, passed away Friday, March 6, 2015 at Woodbury Health Care.

She is survived by her son, Bobby Vickers of Manchester; 4 Grandchildren, Gary Vickers of New Market, AL, Donnie Vickers of Woodbury, Lisa Reynolds of Estill Springs, & Bethany Wilds of Manchester; 8 Great Grandchildren & 7 Great Great Grandchildren also survive.

Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Winfred Vickers; and parents, Edgar Tate & Iseabell Patterson Tate.

Ms. Vickers was a housewife and a retired factory worker, and she loved to quilt. She was a member of the Sycamore Baptist Church.

Funeral Services will be 1 PM Tuesday, March 10, 2015 in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Bro. Thurman Seber officiating. Interment will follow at Riverside Gardens. Visitation with the family will be from 4 to 8 PM Monday, March 9, 2015 at the funeral home.
