Sammie Sue Haley Harris, 70, died Monday, September 26, 2011 at MTMC following an extended illness.

A resident of Woodbury, she was a native of Coffee County. She was a Ret. Seamstress with Valdor and was a member of the Plainview Baptist Church.

Survivors: 2 Sons: Jackie Dean (Shelia) Haley of Bradyville & Michael Thomas of Woodbury

6 Grandsons: David & Chris Haley, Shane, Justin & Tyler Thomas, and Danny Wayne Williams

2 Great Grandchildren: Lola Jane Haley & Welch Williams

2 Sisters: Marie Lawson & Alta Lorance both of Woodbury

Nieces:  Sherry Lynn Taylor of Bradyville, Rachel Alexander of LaVergne and Rena Stoner of Ashland City

She was preceded in death by her parents, Sam & Roxie Gullett Haley; Husband, Marvin “Monkey” Thomas; Sons, Danny Ray Haley & Terry Wayne Haley; Brothers, James Bratten Haley & I.C. Haley.

Funeral services will be held in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 29., 2011 with Bro. Greg Mitchell officiating.  Burial will be in Blue Wing Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5–9 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 28, 2011.
