Sam Jerry Jones, 69, died Friday, January 1, 2016 at his home in Murfreesboro. He was a native of Cannon Co.
He is survived by his children, Kelly Jones and Laura Bielaczyc of Nashville, and Steven Jones of Murfreesboro; Grandchildren, Caiden, Knox, and Ellie Cayton; Sister, Myra Sue Kastor of Statesville, NC.
Mr. Jones was preceded in death by his parents, Sam & Georgia Golden Higgins Jones; Siblings, Avanell George, Edwina Hamilton, Bobby Jones, and Annette Miller.
He was owner and operator of Century 21 Records in Murfreesboro. Mr. Jones was a veteran of the Vietnam War serving in the Army.
Funeral services will be 1 PM Tuesday, Jan. 5, 2016 in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Bro. David George officiating. Interment will follow at Leoni Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 2 PM until 8 PM Monday, Jan. 4, 2016.
