Ruth Rogers Todd, 90, died Wednesday, Feb. 16, 2011, at NHC – McMinnville follwing an extended illness.

A resident of McMinnville, she was a native of Cannon County.

Survivors include a daughter, Virginia Veach of McMinnville; a son, Donald Todd and his wife, Brenda Todd; of Manchester; five grandchildren, Russell (Chris) Veach of Morrison, Crystal (Doug) Malone of McMinnville, Mary Ruth Todd of Manchester, George Todd, June (Jonathon) Baker of Manchester. Five great grandchildren, seven great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.

She was the daughter of the late Jasper and Jimmy Bryant Rogers and married Dan C. Todd on August 11, 1935 and he preceded her in death September 7, 2005.

A member of the Northside Baptist Church of McMinnville, she was a member of the Homemakers Club and a Red Cross Volunteer.  She loved her family, needlework and baking sugar cookies for her friends and family.

Funeral services will be held in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 19, 2011 with  Bro. Jeremy Kliewer officiating. Burial will be in  Riverside Cemetery.

Visitation is from 2 to 6 p.m. Friday, Feb. 18, 2011 and from 10 a.m. till 1 pm Saturday, Feb. 19, 2011.
