Russell C. Dray

Russell C. Dray, 66, died at 11:30 pm December 23, 2016 from a massive heart attack at his home in Woodbury, Tn. Russell was born January 04, 1950 in Cleveland, OH.

He graduated from Le Tourneau College in Longview, TX as an airplane mechanic. Later he changed direction slightly repairing heavy equipment until he retired February 1, 2016. Russell was known as a man who could fix anything that was broken. Friends called him MacGyver.

Russell was married 38 years to his beloved wife, Cheryl, who survives him. He is also survived by his daughter Jennifer (Shannon) McKnight of Murfreesboro, son Nathan Dray of Readyville, sister, Patty (Jim) Schuler of Norcross, GA. and five grandchildren. Also surviving are 16 nieces and nephews.

A memorial to celebrate and remember his life will be Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at 2 pm at Experience Community Church, Murfreesboro, TN. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Experience Community Church at www.experiencecc.com.
