Ruby Jo Fletcher Davenport, age 70, of Auburntown, passed away Tuesday, June 8, 2010, at DeKalb Community Hospital after an extended illness.



Visitation and Services
Funeral will be in the chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home, 11 a.m. Thursday, with Bro. Thurman Seber officiating. Interment will follow in the Prosperity Cemetery.

Visitation with the family will be 10 am till 9 pm Wednesday.

She made her home in Auburntown but was a native of Giles County.

Parents were the late Hardin and Pattie Hasting Fletcher and her husband was the late Robert "Tubby" Davenport, she was also preceded in death by her daughter, Vicki Marie Duke.

She is survived by her daughters, Debbie Giles of Manchester, Diane Allen of Woodbury and Patty Parker of Auburntown; Step daughter, Angie Estes of Woodbury and step son, Kyle Davenport of Smyrna; Brother, Bobby and Dean Fletcher of Auburntown, sister, Dorris York of Watertown; 7 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and three step grandchildren survive.

She was a member of Auburn Baptist and was retired from Colonial Corp, S.W. in Smithville and an employee of Sunnington Nursing Home.
