Robert Lewis Bryan, 83, died Monday, July 18, 2011 at Centennial Medical Center following an extended illness.

A resident of Woodbury, Mr. Bryan was a native of Cannon Co.  

Survivors include sons Roger Don Bryan of Woodbury and Dwayne Gale Bryan of Lighthouse Point, Fl.; daughter,  Janice Kaye Clendenon of Nashville and brothers, Thomas Hayden Bryan of Murfreesboro and Ronald Bryan of East Tennessee. Also surviving are 5 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Erskin Bryan and Gladys Stephens Bryan and his wife, Viola Mooneyham Bryan.

A member of the Church of Christ, he was a veteran of the Navy and a Carpenter.

Funeral services will be held at Prater Cemetery at 2 p.m. Thursday, July 21 , 2011 with Bro. Herb Alsup officiating.
