Robert Clay Hollandsworth



Robert Clay Hollandsworth, 82, of Woodbury, died Tuesday, January 19, 2010 at Stones River Hospital following a short illness.

A native of Cannon County, Mr. Hollandsworth was the son of the late Henry Clay and Verna Higgins Hollandsworth.

He served in the Army during World War II, was retired from Hollandsworth Building Supply and attended the Woodbury Church of Christ.

Graveside services will be held at Riverside Cemetery on Friday, Jan. 22 at 11 a.m. with Bro. Herb Alsup officiating, with burial at Riverside Cemetery.

Visitation will be in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home from 4 to 9 p.m. Thursday.

Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Hazel Foster Hollandsworth of Woodbury; a son, Henry Clay Hollandsworth of Woodbury; a daughter, Jo Ann Hollandsworth of Woodbury; a grandson, Robert Cain (Jennifer) Hollandsworth of Woodbury; a grandson, Waylon Cain Hollandsworth of Woodbury; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a son, Michael David Hollandsworth.
