Rita Kay Cawthorn, age 46, of Murfreesboro passed away Sunday, July 31, 2016 at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital. She was a native of Cannon Co.

Survivors include her daughter, Tabitha Daly of Murfreesboro; Mother, Dewalene Bryson Cawthorn of Bradyville; Sister, Teresa (Earl) Bogle of Woodbury; Brother, Doyle (Linda) Cawthorn of Woodbury; Grandchildren, Kyanna & Noah Daly; Boyfriend, Thomas Watts of Murfreesboro. She is also survived by her dog, Andy.

She was preceded in death by her father, R.L. Cawthorn; and grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Robert C. Bryson.

Ms. Cawthorn was a member of the Mt. Hermon Baptist Church and worked in shipping at Lewis Bakeries. Ms. Cawthorn was a loving mother and gone too soon.

Funeral services are 2 PM Wednesday, August 3, 2016 in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Bro. Jerry Howard officiating. Interment will follow at Cherry Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 4 to 8 PM Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at the funeral home.
