- National Rate is commissionable at standard agency 15%
- All accounts are due and payable upon receipt of statement of services
- All advertising will be cash with copy unless credit has been approved.
- All political advertising will be paid in advance

PUBLIC NOTICES
- Column inch prices apply for all Public Notices
- Legal Notices at $.25 per word per insertion and must be prepaid
- Cancellation of legal after first run is one-half of remaining insertions. No refund is due after a legal has run two (2) times.
- Notice to Creditors ($20.00 per run)

SPECIAL SERVICES
- Proofs provided on request for ads over thirty (30) column inches, provided all copy is submitted a minimum of two (2) working days before deadline.
- Tear Sheet service upon request at $.75 per sheet.
- Typesetting, photography and other services available at minimum of $25.00 per hour (minimum of one hour charge).

AD MAKE-UP REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum display advertisement acceptable: one (1) column by one (1) inch. All advertising over 19 inches deep will be billed at full column depth.
- Ads over one inch will be charged at the next line measurement.
- Any ad set to look like or give the appearance of news copy must be clearly labeled as an advertisement.
- All advertising must contain a method of identifying the person responsible for the placement and content of the ad.
- By submitting an advertisement for publication, the advertiser accepts all terms and conditions of this rate card.

DEADLINES
- Deadline is 4:00 P.M. Thursday for the next publication date.
- Deadline for preprinted inserts is one week prior to insertion unless previously specified.
- Extra charges will apply for changes after the ad has been set according to copy.
- Composition charges on canceled ads will be fifty percent (50%) of the normal advertising rate for the ad if it had run.

MECHANICAL REQUIREMENTS
- The Cannon Courier is printed offset.
- Web size is 24 inches.
- Page size is six (6) columns (11 1/4) by twenty one (21) inches deep. There are 126 column inches per full page.
- Each column is 1.73 inches wide.

POSITION
- Ad position cannot be purchased, but ads will be placed in the best position to accommodate request.

GENERAL POLICIES
- Liability for errors in advertising shall not exceed the cost of the space occupied by the error. The newspaper accepts no responsibility for failure to publish advertising.
- All advertising is subject to Publisher’s approval and reserves the right to reject any ad.

4,000 per week - Single copy price $.50
