The 4th of July Fireworks Celebration this year will be on Friday the 3rd of July, at Dillon Park in Woodbury.

Festivities start at 4 p.m. with live music, patriotic music, games for the children.

"A dunking booth with several of our county officials, city officials, CCHS coaches and tachers and other distinguished members of our county, who have been selected because they need a good dunking, and YOU can be the one to see that they get a good dunking," said Col. Jim Stone.

American Legion Post 279 will be selling hot dogs and drinks. The Sons of the American Legion Squadron 279 will be selling snow-cones, strawberry short cakes with all the trimmings, action bracelets, and United States Flags, large and small.

The fireworks display this year will be bigger and better and will last longer.

"Come on out and enjoy an evening of celebration and fun. Uncle Sam will be there, come and get a photo with Uncle Sam," Stone said.
