Randall Jackson “Randy” Brandon, 60, Date Died: Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at his home following a sudden illness.

Burt Community, Earl (Janis) Pope of KY, Steve (Amy) Pope of Smyrna, Carol Counts of Augusta, Ga., Diane (Gary) Gutherie of Murfreesboro and Sandy Brandon of Burt Community; 7 Nieces: Amy Brandon, Jamie (James D.) Hudson, Risa Pope,

Jana (Dale) Flagstaff, Gina (Billy) Bradshaw, Ashley Pope, Candace (Mark) Bond; 7 Nephews: Jason (Kelli) Counts, Chris (Rachel) Gutherie, Bobby (Beth) Pope, Boyce Pope, Carter Pope, Heath Pope and Dillon Pope.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul L. & Lourene Burks Brandon, son, Marion Paul Brandon, brothers, Paul L. Brandon, Jr. and James E. “Jimmy” Brandon.

Randy was a member and Deacon at Burt Baptist Church. He attended Woodbury Central High School where he was the Student Body President his senior year. He also played basketball all 4 years of High School. 

For 20 years, Randy operated the one man tire shop at Sears in Jackson Heights Plaza in Murfreesboro, 2 years as the Service Manager at Jennings Motors in Woodbury and has spent the last 21 years in the tire business at Bud’s Tire in Murfreesboro.

Funeral Services will be held at Burt Baptist Church, 2:00 pm Saturday 4/19/14 with Bro. David Moody and Jerry Barrett officiating.  Interment will follow in the Cateston Cemetery.

Visitation with the family will be from  4 pm – 8 pm Friday, April 18, 2014 at Woodbury Funeral Home. 

Active Pallbearers:  Johnny Dorris, James Paul, Jr., Larry Sanders, Ronnie & Alan Pack, Jamie Hudson, Boyce & Bobby Pope.

In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Burt Baptist or Cateston Cemetery %Woodbury Funeral Home
