The amount of rainfall from Jan. 1 through Feb. 23 this year has set a record, according to the National Weather Service.
The total during that time period was 16.99 inches. The normal amount during that span is 8.79 inches.
Saturday's drenching of 2.23 inches was the highest amount of rain to hit the county this year.
That followed 1.12 inches on Wednesday, 1.54 on Thursday and 1.22 Friday.
The record for the first two months of the year is 18.88 inches set in 1962.
The coming week should see a record to more normal and drier last winter weather
