Rain didn’t dampen the spirits of the cruisers as once again a crowd of 85 cars and trucks presented a rainbow of color after the rain on Saturday evening.

DJ John Barker kept the music following and the crowd involved with trivia questions, door prizes and announcements.

The cruiser of the month award, sponsored by O’Reilly’s Auto Parts was presented by Carol Tate and Andy Pollard to Ronnie Jacobs driving a 1970 Mustang fastback.

Antiques and More, located on the Square, presented prizes to two lucky winners, Cecil Parker and Charlotte Campbell. Higgins.

Higgins Drive-In gave a movie ticket to each curiser that registered. The Blue Porch Cafe awarded a dinner for two and other sponsors inlcuded Hibdons Body Shop, Graphic Imagines, NAPA Auto Parkts, Auto Zone Auto Parts and Woodbury Detail Shop.

Thanks to Tammy and Roy Freeze using their golf cart to deliver 50/50 tickets to the drivers. The winner was Kenny Davis driving a 1968 Mustang.

The Cruise In is the fourth Saturday of each month, except for September which features the Color of Fall Car Show, 4 to 7:30 p.m. on the Square in Woodbury.
