R.L. Cawthorn

R.L. Cawthorn, 78, of Bradyville died Friday, 09/04/15 at Vanderbilt Hospital. He was a native of Cannon Co., Tn.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years: Dewalene Bryson Cawthorn of Bradyville; 3 Children:Teresa (Earl) Bogle of Woodbury; Doyle (Linda) Cawthorn of Woodbury and Rita Cawthorn of Murfreesboro; 2 grandchildren:Heather (Jason) Hedrick of Cookeville and Tabitha Daly of Shelbyville; 3 Great Grandchildren: Andrew Hedrick, Kyanna Daly and Noah Daly.

R.L. was a member of the Plainview Baptist Church and was a retired G.E. appliance repairman since 1964. He loved to mow his yard and plant his garden but most of all he loved his family more than anything.

Funeral services will be 2 pm Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at Plainview Baptist Church with Bro. Jonathan Womack and Bro. Charlie Heath officiating. Interment will follow in theCherry Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 3 pm to 8 pm Tuesday, September 08, 2015.

Pallbearers include Jeff Davis, Chip Cook, Keith Smith, Willie Blackburn, Earl Bogle, Corey Davenport, Russell Davenport and Everett Rogers
