The Quilt in a Day Workshop has been held in Woodbury since 1998 with more than 188 quilt tops created.

UT Extension has facilitated the class partnering with Wanda Lawson, a retired educator, who instructs the workshop. Participants receive recognition for five quilt tops in the form of a pair of Gingher 5 inch sewing scissors, and ten years participants receive a Gingher rotary cutter.

Pictured here presenting the awards are Carla Bush, UT Extension Agent; Anita Arnold, 5-year award; Diane Rheinscheld, 10 year award; Gerri Hailey, 10 year award; and Lisa Klinger, 5-year award.
