Notice is hereby given that on the 14th day of May, 2012, letters of administration in respect of the estate of Peggy Joyce Bly, deceased, were issued to the undersigned by the Chancery Court of Court of Cannon County, Tennessee. All persons, both resident and non-residents, having claims matured and unmatured against said estate are required to file same with the clerk of the above named court within four months of first publication of this notice, otherwise their claims will be forever barred.

NOTICE

Pursuant to Section 67-508, Tennessee Code Annotated, the property assessment records of Cannon County will be available for public inspection at the Property Assessor’s Office in the Courthouse during normal business hours. Any person desiring to inspect these records may do so at the appointed time and place.

The Cannon County Board of Equalization will begin its annual session to examine and equalize the county assessments on June 4, 2012.

The Board will accept appeals for Tax Year 2011 only until the last day of its 2012 regular session, which will be June 8, 2012.

The Board will meet each weekday from the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the Courthouse. Any owner of property who wishes to make a complaint or appear to the County Board of Equalization should appear before said Board at this time personally or by personal appearance of an agent for the owner bearing the owner’s written authorization. Failure to appeal an assessment may result in the assessment becoming final without further right of appeal.

After having a public meeting to hear concerns about expanding the 5th District voting lines with no opposition to the expansion, there will be a Special Called Meeting of the Cannon County Commission on
Tuesday, June 5, 2012
at the Courtroom of the Courthouse to be convened at 6 p.m.

Under Tennessee law, when there is a Special Called Meeting, there can be no other business discussed.

NOTICE OF MEETING & HEARING
Cannon County 9-1-1 Board of Directors

The Board of Directors of the Cannon County 9-1-1 Emergency Communications District will meet at 6:30 p.m., June 12 in the Conference Room of the Stones River Hospital in Woodbury, Tennessee, or such other location as may be posted at the Courthouse, where and which time the Board will consider any matter that may be properly presented. Meetings of the Board are at the same time and location on the 2nd Tuesday of the months of June and December, and the 4th Thursday on the months of February, April, August, and October. A public hearing is held at the June meeting for the purpose of reviewing the budget proposed for the fiscal year that begins July 1. The public is invited to all meetings.
