May 18, 2012
is the first day that a nominating petition for the November Election can be picked up. This is for the November General Election, The Woodbury City Election and The Auburntown City Election.

The qualifying deadline for these petitions are 12:00 p.m. NOON on August 16, 2012.

Cannon County Commission Meeting Notice

The Board of County Commissioners will meeting for their regular meeting on Tuesday, May 8 at 6:00 p.m.  at the courtroom of the county courthouse. The Budget Committee will meet at 5 p.m. in the courtroom.

The Board of Directors of the Cannon County 9-1-1 Emergency Communications District will meet in session to discuss the first reading of the 2012-21013 Fiscal Year Budget at 6:30 p.m. on May 7th
in the Stones River Hospital Conference Room on Doolittle Road in Woodbury. Regular meetings of the Board will be at the same time and place on the 4nd Thursday of every other month, unless notice is otherwise given. The public is invited to all meetings.

NOTICE OF SUBSTITUTE TRUSTEE'S SALE

WHEREAS, Amnon Shreibman, Trustee, and Amnon Shreibman and Ruth Shreibman, husband and wife, individually, executed a Deed of Trust to Larry K. Tolbert, Trustee, dated October 20, 2006, of record in Record Book 106, Page 732, as modified in Record Book 106, Page 742, as corrected by Scrivener's Affidavit of record in Record Book 137, Page 674, Register's Office for Cannon County, Tennessee, to secure an indebtedness evidenced by a Promissory Note payable to the order of Wilson Bank & Trust, hereinafter referred to as the "Deed of Trust"; and
WHEREAS, said conveyance was made for the purpose of securing the payment of certain sums as evidenced by a Promissory Note payable to the order of Wilson Bank & Trust; and,
WHEREAS, Byron M. Gill was appointed Substitute Trustee by instrument dated March 28, 2012, of record in Record Book 137, Page 674, Register's Office for Cannon County, Tennessee; and,
WHEREAS, the Deed of Trust provided that in the event of default in payment of the Promissory Note and interest when due, the entire indebtedness shall, at the option of the legal owner or holder of the Note, become due and payable immediately; and,
WHEREAS, default has been made in the payment of the Promissory Note, and the indebtedness is now due and in default, and the owner and holder of the Note has declared the entire balance to now be due and payable, demand for payment having been made and refused, the Deed of Trust containing a power of sale in the event of default, the legal owner and holder of the Note has instructed the undersigned Substitute Trustee to foreclose the Deed of Trust.
