NOTICE TO: JASON RAY WRIGHT, the Petitioners, Kathy D. Vari and Michael J. Vari have filed a Petition to Terminate Parental Rights and for Adoption requesting that your parental rights to Samson Ray Wright be terminated and the Petitioners Kathy D. Vari and Michael J. Vari be allowed to adopt the minor child. It appears ordinary process of law cannot be served upon you because your whereabouts are unknown, or you are avoiding service of process. You are hereby ORDERED to appear and/or file an answer with the Juvenile Court for Cannon County, 200 West Main Street, Woodbury, Tennessee within 30 days from the date this ad first runs. Failing to appear or file an Answer without good cause, pursuant to the Rules of Civil Procedure will result in the loss of your parental rights and your right to contest the Petition to Terminate Parental Rights and for Adoption as to the minor child Samson Ray Wright. Notice is hereby given that on the 20th day of June, 2019, letters of testamentary or letters of administration with respect to the estate of Kenneth Edward Rank, deceased were issued to the undersigned by the Chancery Court of Cannon County, Tennessee. All persons, resident and non-residents, having claims, matured and unmatured against the estate are required to file same with the Clerk of the Chancery Court on or before the earlier of the dates prescribed in (1) or (2), otherwise claims will be forever barred:
(1) (A) Four (4) months from the date of the first publication (or posting, as the case may be) of this Notice if the creditor received an actual copy of the Notice to Creditors at least sixty (60) before the date that is four (4) months from the date of the first publication (or posted); or (B) Sixty (60) days from the date of the creditor receiving an actual copy of the Notice to Creditors, if the creditor received the copy of the Notice less than sixty (60) days prior to the date that is four (4) months from the date of the first publication (or posting) as described in (1)(A): or

The Cannon County Board of Education is taking bids for the following item. Bids should be per school. This purchase will be funded by the Safe School grant proceeds. Bids will be opened at 1 PM on October 4, 2019 at the Central Office located at 301 W. Main St., Woodbury, TN. The bids will be considered at the October Cannon County Schools Board of Education meeting on October 10, 2019, which will take place at 6:30 PM in the cafeteria at Woodbury Grammar School. The board reserves the right to reject any and all bids.

Bids will be opened at 10:00 AM on October 10, 2019 at the Cannon County Board of Education, 301 W. Main St., Woodbury, TN 37190, and will be considered at the meeting of the board at 6:30 PM on October 10, 2019 in the cafeteria at Woodbury Grammar School.
The Town of Woodbury Board of Mayor and Aldermen will meet in regular session, Tuesday, October 8, 2019 at 7:00 PM at Woodbury City Hall. The meeting is open to the public.

Cannon County EMS is now accepting bids for 4 power load systems and 1 power cot. Bid specifications can be obtained by contacting Dek Sissom by telephone at
Cannon County requests bids on a project for the Cannon County Courthouse consisting of cupola, roof, gutter (painting, etc), and chimney repairs. On-site review of specific work is highly recommended to ensure that specific construction related issues are addressed. The upcoming project involves improvements for the County Courthouse with construction in fall of 2019 and completion of the entire project by Spring 2020. Specific services to be performed are preparation of bid plans, including historic preservation and Tennessee buildings codes.
Please submit two copies of your bids by 3 p.m. on October 18, 2019 to the County Executive's office. All bids will be submitted to the County Commission and a contract will then be negotiated with the consultant deemed most qualified for this project.
