Mark Barker The Cannon County Solid Waste Department will be accepting proposals for the transportation of solid waste from the collection site on Alexander Drive, Woodbury, Tennessee to Allied Waste Middlepoint Landfill in Walter Hill, Tennessee. Cannon County shall pay hauler based on a per ton price of solid waste transported and delivered to Allied Waste Inc. payable on a monthly basis. The bid price shall be expressed in dollars per delivered ton including in the bid amount the costs of all hauler duties and responsibilities. For a list of duties and responsibilities for which proposals are sought, contact the County Executive's Office, 200 W. Main St, Woodbury, TN 37190, Proposals will be accepted until 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 16, 2018. The term shall extend from September 1, 2018 to completion of the construction and improvements to the Cannon County Convenience Center or 24 months from the date of a contract accepting a proposal, whichever occurs first.
