'Pitbull' valued at $20,000 reported stolen

The Cannon County Sheriff Department is investigating a theft which reportedly occurred on or about May 14.

On that date a deputy was dispatched to an address on Pleasant View Road in reference to an aggravated burglary. The victim, Timothy Bryan George, stated sometime between midnight on May 13 and 8 a.m. on May 14, someone broke into his walk-through garage door and stole a blue 2002 Big Dog Pitbull motorcycle, valued at $20,000.

Also reported as stolen were three Harley-Davidson signs, four International Fertilizer boxes, 12 John Deere batteries and two 1930's coal miners lights.

There are no suspects at this time, the report states. There were holes in the side fence leading to a field that had not been seen or known about before this incident.

The investigation into the incident continues.
