Patricia Eileen (Bechtol) Sissom

Patricia Eileen (Bechtol) Sissom, 74, of the Hollow Springs Community passed away Monday, January 30, 2017 surrounded by her loved ones. The daughter of Harry and Maxine Bechtol, "Patty" was born August 26, 1942 in Montpelier, Ohio. She was married to Carl H. Sissom, who preceded her in death in 2014.

She is survived by three sons, Mark (Jenny) Sissom, Dwayne (Deia) Sissom, and Gregory (Bethany) Sissom all of the Hollow Springs Community; nine grandchildren, Lindsay (Wesley) Alexander, Caleb, Adlen, and Ethan Sissom, Amanda (Jonathon) Francis, Aaron (Amber) Sissom, Will, McKenzie and Haley Sissom; three great-grandchildren, Allison and Waylon Francis and Cole Sissom; two brothers, Roger (Carol) Bechtol of Taylor, MI and Danny Bechtol of Westland, MI.

Patty was a member of Gilley Hill Methodist Church for many years. She loved the Lord and reading her Bible, flower gardening, birdwatching, and above all, spending time with her family. Patty had a servant's heart and would go out of her way to help anyone at all. She will be greatly missed.

Funeral services will be 2 pm Thursday, Feb. 2, 2017 in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Bro. Joe Sissom and Bro. John Brown officiating. Interment will follow in the Gilley Hill Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 4 till 8 pm Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2017. For those wishing to do so, donations can be made to the American Diabetes Association in her memory.
