Parents, teachers gather for WGS start

Students, parents and members of the community and the staff at Woodbury Grammar School recently gathered to celebrate the beginning of a new school year with information, an open house, and a meal.  

Students had the opportunity to show parents and family members around the school building, to introduce them to their new teachers, and to inform them of some new things at WGS this year.

Principal Bonnie Patterson greeted guests in the cafeteria and provided a school overview, including the parent/teacher support organization, the new video announcements, the school’s Facebook page, and the Breakfast in the Classroom Program.  

Parents and members of the community are encouraged to become a part of the newly named We Love Our Cubs school support organization and to keep up with school happenings through information provided on the school Facebook page. 

Video announcements are included in the morning homeroom meetings as students and teachers eat breakfast in the classrooms.
