Over $1 Million In Property Transfers In Jan. 2011

Cannon County property transfers for the month of January 2011 totaled $1,031,351.77.

The Cannon Courier obtained the property transfer information by searching public records at the Cannon County Register of Deeds Office. All records kept on file at the office are by law available to the general public and the media.

The transfers which took place, as recorded by the Cannon County Register of Deeds Office, are as follows:

Jacky O. Bellar, Substitute Trustee TO Citizens Bank, Building & 0.91 acre on McMinnville Hwy., 8th dist., $150,000.

Unfortunately, about a third of the transfers($280,030.00) appear to be foreclosures (trustee to bank).
