Outdoor Club Turns 'Savage' On President's Day

CCHS Outdoor Club took advantage of President's Day off and headed to Savage Gulf Natural Area.

Students hiked 7 miles from Stone Door overlook down into Savage Gorge and ended at Greeter Falls.

Savage Gulf is part of the South Cumberland Recreation Area near Beersheba Springs. Recent rains and a beautiful day made the hike spectacular.

Hikers included Chloe Fann, Hannah Faulkner, Wesley Alexander, Brandon Harper, T.J. Paul, Lauren Turney, Ronnie Burks, Doug King, Marc Larson and Belle.
