Opha Fay Reed Jones

Services for Opha Fay Reed Jones will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, March 4, 2013 at the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Bro. Jerry Osborne officiating. Visitation is from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday, March 4. Interment will be at Odom Cemetery.

 Mrs. Jones died Saturday, March 2, 2013, at Woodbury Nursing Center.

 An Auburntown resident, she is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Elaine and Jimmy Mingle of Auburntown; grandchildren, Brent (Cheri) Griffith, Holly (Johnny) McCrary and Brooke (Cory) Harrell; eight great-grandchildren, Tommy Griffith, Bethany Griffith, Hannah, Caitlyn, Dawson and Christian McCrary, Oakley Fisher and Easton Harrell.

 Mrs. Jones was preceded in death by her parents, William P. Reed and Novella Williams Reed and her husband, Thomas Earl Jones, four sisters and five brothers.

 A member of the Auburn Baptist Church, she was a nurse at Good Samaritan Hospital, Rutherford County Hospital and NHC Nursing Home.
