OBITUARY: Vernia May Paschal

Vernia May Paschal, age 96, of Woodbury passed away Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at Woodbury Health & Rehab. She was a native of Cannon Co.

Survivors include her sons, Wade Paschal & Ronnie (Mary) Paschal, both of Readyville; Grandchildren, Deborah (David) Newman of Franklin & Alan Paschal of McMinnville; and Great Grandchildren, Alana Paschal of Woodbury, Emily, Sarah, & Andrew Newman, all of Franklin.

Ms. Paschal was preceded in death by her parents, George Wesley Parker & Amanda Frances Rogers Parker; Her husband, Reedy Paschal; and Siblings, Phronia Conley, Ora Sissom, Cephus Parker, Zadie Thomas, Howard Parker, Ruby Vance, & Lois Campbell.

She was a member of the New Hope Church of Christ and was an inspector at Colonial Corporation for 38 years. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, and spending time at church.

Funeral Services will be 4 PM Friday, February 9, 2018 in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Bro. Ralph Richardson officiating. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 10 AM until time of service Friday, February 9, 2018 at the funeral home.
