Shelley J. Chaney Adams, 49, passed away peacefully with loved ones present on Dec. 7, 2017, at her residence. She was born January 14, 1968, in St Mary's, OH, the daughter of Dean & Donna Chaney (Miller). Her father and mother survive in St Mary's, Ohio.

Other survivors include, a Daughter Mackenzie Adams & Dustin Mears (Readyville, TN) a Brother Kevin & Jess Chaney of St Mary's. Sisters Jeff (Teresea) Zizelman Rockford OH, Donny (Angel) Ginter St Mary's OH, and Sue Chaney, Wapakoneta, OH. Ohio. She is also survived by her ex-husband Randy Adams from Tampa FL.

Shelley was a graduate of the St. Mary's Memorial High School and various technical classes for banking. She worked her way up to Executive Assistant & Assistant Vice President for First National Bank of Middle Tennessee. She opened a new banking center in Murfreesboro and planned on opening another before retiring in May to fight pancreatic cancer. Most of all, her greatest joy was being a mother and being remembered for her unconditional love of life. She was an active member of the Cornerstone Community Church, and she enjoyed working on her home, arts and crafts and cooking. Shelley was proceeded in death by many loved ones from the Miller, Chaney & Adams families.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m., Saturday Dec. 9, 2017, at the Woodbury Funeral Home 504 W. Main St. Woodbury, TN 37190. Rev. Rick McFerrin will be officiating the service. The family will receive friends from 11-1., Saturday. A dinner will follow the service at corner Stone community Church 50 Locke Creek Rd, Woodbury, TN 37190.

Memorial contributions may be directed to her daughter, Mackenzie Adams %Woodbury Funeral Home to further her college education.

There will be a second service in Ohio for Shelley at the Miller Funeral Home located 1605 Celina Rd, St. Marys, OH 45885 on December 16th. The family will receive friends from 10-12 and funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Dinner will follow the service and family members will post via Facebook. Memorial contributions may be directed to Teresea Zizelman trustee to Mackenzie Adams.
