OBITUARY: Michael Lee Alexander

Mr. Michael Lee Alexander, 26, of Lebanon passed away on August 5, 2017. He was born on May 24, 1991 in Murfreesboro, TN. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, John Alexander.

He is survived by his fiancé, Crystal Murphy; daughters, Conleigh Fae Alexander and Constance Graiden Alexander; father, Sam (Nancy) Alexander of Lebanon; mother, Teresa Bain Mears of Lousiana; grandparents, Mary Helen Alexander, Ruth Bradley both of Lebanon and Mary Smith of Shelbyville, siblings, Dylan Mears, Samantha Alexander, Destiny Mears, Beth McFalls, Heather Bradley, Serenity Brown, and Whitney Dailey; also by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Michael was a loving father and fiancé. He enjoyed being with his girls and teaching them how to fish and swim, and going camping. He and his father, spent time going fishing on the Stones River and creeks around the area. They worked together at Bradley Paving. Before going to work with his father he worked for Middle Tennessee Paving. His boss there, Michael Tacheny, was a great friend and support for him. Michael was a Christian who found the Lord with the Woodbury Pentecostal Church.

Visitation will be held at Smith Funeral Home on Saturday, August 12, 2017 from 3-5 pm. A memorial service will follow in the Smith Funeral Home chapel at 5 pm. Clayton Neal will officiate. Michael's passing was an unexpected hardship for his family. They request memorials through Smith Funeral Home to assist with expenses.
