OBITUARY: John McBroom "J.M." Ferrell

John McBroom "J.M." Ferrell, 78, passed away Wed., August 02, 2017 at Stones River Hospital E/R. He was a native of Cannon Co., Tn.

He is survived by his wife, Mildred Womack Ferrell of Woodbury; children, John Ferrell, Robert (Christy) Ferrell and Beth (Anthony) Prater all of Woodbury; Grandchildren, Johnathon & Trenton Ferrell; Mother-in-law,  Dorothy Womack of Woodbury. Also surviving are several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John Griffin & Mary Elizabeth Gilley Ferrell and his son, Paul Maxwell Ferrell.

J.M. was a member of the Iconium Church of Christ and was retired from Samsonite where he worked for 35 years.  He was a farmer and an avid Nascar fan.

Funeral Services will be 2 pm Saturday, August 05, 2017 in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home.  Interment will follow in the Riverside Cemetery. Pallbearers include Jerry Reed, Bobby Joe Young, James Mangrum, Fred Hollis, Verble, Roy D. & Melvin Ferrell, Jackie Francis and Raymond Robinson

Visitation with the family will be from 2 pm until 8 pm, Friday, August 4, 2017.
