Edward Franklin Tucker, age 83, passed away Friday August 18, 2017. He was a native of Cannon County.

He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Dorothy Mae Cummings Tucker of Bradyville, TN; daughter, Edwina (Robert) Ward and their children, Dustin and Elizabeth Ward and Justin and Emily Ward; son, David (Anna) Tucker and their children, Shelby Tucker and Willie Love. Also surviving are brothers, Kenneth Tucker and Avery Tucker; sisters, Patricia (Fred) Fann, Faye Elam and Regenia (Richard) Grissom. He has numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel and Odie Sissom Tucker, his baby sister, Sharon Tucker and his baby brother, Milan Tucker and 3 nephews and 1 niece.

Edward was a member of Sanders Fork Baptist Church. He was an electrician and had been retired from I.B.E.W. local union 429 for 28 years. After retirement, he enjoyed farming and being a loving husband, daddy, pa, uncle, brother, friend and neighbor.

Funeral services will be 4:00 PM Monday August 21, 2017 at the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Bro. Marvin Davenport and Bro. Greg Mitchell officiating.

Burial will follow in the private family Tucker Cemetery located on the family farm. Visitation will be Sunday 4:00 to 8:00 PM and Monday 3:00 PM until time of service.

Pallbearers include Michael Young, Marty Tucker, Ken Tucker, Glenn Fann and Fred Tucker, Jr.
