Christine Bryson Mingle, 96, died Monday, Sept. 25, 2017 at her home in Woodbury. She was a native of Cannon Co.

She is survived by her children, Wendell (Rita) Mingle of Murfreesboro, Virginia Rogers and Brenda Hawk both of Woodbury; Daughter-in-law, Rahma Mingle of Woodbury; 12 Grandchildren, Gregg Mingle, Khadijah (Chris) Frazier, Lisa (Steve) Stone, Denise (Rick) Davis, Kenny Simmons (Miranda Finchum) Kasey (A.J.) Troupe, Cindy Hillis (Carlton Hobbs) Christy (Ahmed) Olfat, LeAnn (Art) Hancock, Tommy Rogers, Mike (Sherry) Mingle, Tammy (Jeff) Meyer; 28 Great Grandchildren, 22 Great Great Grandchildren and 26 nieces and nephews also surviving.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James Samuel and Nora Duggin Bryson; husband, James Mingle; sons, Wayne Mingle and infant James Lee Mingle; Great Granddaughter, Alissa Olfat and Great grandson, Kyler Haggard; Siblings, Willie (Edith) Bryson, Josie (Comer) Alexander, Belle (Ray) Smith, Cleo (Lehman) Nichols, Sammie Lee (Paul) Mingle.
Ms. Mingle grew up and went to school in the Sanders Fork Community. She married James Mingle in 1940 and he preceded her in death in 1981. She was a lifelong member of the Baptist church and a member of Plainview Baptist Church. She worked over 20 years at Colonial Corp.

Ms. Mingle came from a family of five girls and one boy. From that family grew a large family tree of 62 close and loving relatives.
Funeral Services will be 11 am Thursday, September 28, 2017 in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Bro. Charlie Heath and Bro. Jonathan Womack. Interment will follow in the Riverside Gardens Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 2 pm until 8 pm Wednesday, Sept. 27, 2017,
