Nobel R. Carr

Mr. Nobel R. Carr, 92, a native of Braxton Co., West Virginia and long time resident of Cannon County died at home November 7, 2010 after an extended illness.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Roscoe Carr and Delle (Engel) Carr; sisters, Edna Roney and Mary Iams; brothers, Archie Carr and Daniel Carr; daughter, Brenda Carr McCarthy.

Survivors include his wife of 69 years Meda (Blair) Carr; daughter, Mary Elizabeth Cooper; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Carr was a veteran of World War II and retired from Gould Co. Smith Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements and burial was in the Gardens of Memory in McMinnville. (615)563-5337 www.smithfuneralhomewoodbury.net
