No 'Lack' Of Evidence To Warrant Arrests

Two Woodbury woman face multiple drug charges following their June 25 arrest by the Woodbury Police Department.

Twila K. Lack, 4889 Jim Cummings Hwy., Woodbury, and Michelle L. Alexander (aka Pyron) were each charged with simple possession of a Schedule II drug, promotion of methamphetamine manufacture, possession of drug paraphernalia and tampering with evidence on June 25 by Woodbury Police Patrolman John Fesmire following a traffic stop on Lester St.

Lack and Alexander were found to be in possession of items used and/or intended to be used in the promotion of methamphetamine. The items included meth-tainted coffee filters, lithium batteries and ammonia nitrate.

They were also found to be in possession of a substance that tested positive for methamphetamine. Coffee filters were pushed into a Pepsi bottle. The liquid content of the bottle was tested.

Lack and Alexander allegedly attempted to destroy/tamper with the meth-tainted coffee filters and/or methamphetamine by forcing the items into the Pepsi bottle. The bottle was full of soda. The soda tested positive for meth.

The items were found after a police dog alerted to the odor of narcotics about the vehicle Lack and Alexander were in, a 1989 red Ford Mustang.

Total bond for both defendants was set at $112,000. Their initial court date is Aug. 23.
