James Donald Rich

James Donald "Donnie" Rich, 70, of Smithville passed away Wednesday morning (March 28) at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville.

He was a salesman with Enco Materials and was a member of the Mt. Hope The Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his father, Floyd Rich; brother, Thomas Rich and niece, Tammy Rich.

Survivors include his wife, Ella Milton Rich of Smithville; son, Kevin and wife Nikole Rich of Alabama; daughter, Kortney and husband Eric Blaylock of Sparta, 4 grandchildren, Landin and Dylin Rich, both of Alabama, Brooklynn and Brody Blaylock both of Sparta; mother, Christine Rich of Woodbury; 3 brothers, Robert and wife Wanda Rich of McMinnville, Jerry and wife Nell Rich of Knoxville and Larry and wife Joan Rich of Woodbury; aunt, Irene Rich of Murfreesboro. Several nieces, nephews, cousins, brothers and sisters-in-law also survive.

Funeral services were held Saturday, March 31, at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home in Smithville with Bro. Dwight Knowles officiating. Burial was in DeKalb Memorial Gardens.

Love-Cantrell Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
