Jennie Mae Glenn, 76, died Wednesday, September 14, 2011 at Stones River Hospital following an extended illness.

A native of McMinnville, she was a resident of Woodbury. She was a member of the Woodbury Church of Christ, and was an employee of Armour Creamery and was a retired book keeper with Bank of Commerce.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Omar and Hallie Mears Phillips and her husband Clayton Glenn.

Survivors include her children, Barry (Pat) Glenn of Jackson and Gay (Lannie) Burger of Woodbury; grandchildren, Chad, Phillip, Pepper and Cricket Glenn, Laurie Burger, Jessica Akers and Alan Burger; great grandson, Clayton Renza Akers and two sisters-in-law, Ann Cannon and Audrey Mullican, both of McMinnville.

Funeral services will be held in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 17 with Bro. Herb Alsup officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.

Visitation is from 11:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. Friday, Sept. 16, 2011.

In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Clayton Glenn Scholarship Fund c/o Woodbury Funeral Home or First National Bank.
