John 'Mickey' Eaglen

Mr. John "Mickey" Eaglen, 48, of Beechgrove died July 19, 2011. He was born on March 25, 1963 in Maryville, TN. He was preceded in death by his father Buford Lovvorn.

He is survived by his mother, Bessie Lovvorn of Beechgrove; a brother, Marvin Eaglen, Jr. of Murfreesboro; half-brother, Jimmy Gibson; three sisters, Brenda & Troy Vaughn of Murfreesboro, Rebecca Gadd and Sandra Sellers both of Beechgrove, as well as several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

Mr. Eaglen worked as a block mason for many years. He loved spending time with his family. Hunting and fishing were favortie pass times. His family and friends knew him as a NASCAR fanatic. Watching John Wayne westerns and listing to country music were also things he loved to do.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 22, 2011 from 4-8 PM at Smith Funeral Home. Funeral services will be on Saturday, July 23, 2011 at 3 PM in the Smith Funeral Home chapel. Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery.
