VETERANS MEETING: The Veterans and Concerned Citizens for the Veterans of Cannon County will meet on January 6, 2011, at 6:30 PM, at the Senior Citizens Center in Woodbury, next to the Veterans Memorial Gym. This will be our last meeting until the month of August when we get ready for our annual Program at the Cannon County High School and our Veterans Day Parade to honor our Veterans of Cannon County.

COOKIE SALES: Your favorite Girl Scout cookies have arrived. Door-to-door cookie sales began just before Christmas. Don’t worry though, if you miss your local neighborhood troop you can always find them at a local booth sale. Right in time for Valentine’s Day, booth sales begin Sunday, February 13 and run through Sunday, March 6.  To find a booth sale near you, visit the Girl Scouts of Middle Tennessee website at www.gsmidtn.org. BASS CLUB: The Cannon County Bass Club will be having a pre tournament meeting on the 15th of January at First National Bank. The meeting will begin at 4:00 p,m. This meeting is to elect officers, rule changes, and to determine the lakes and times for our tournaments for the 2011 season. Adult relative support group meetings are held, every FOURTH Wednesday, of each month, from 10:30 - 11:30 A.M. It will be held at the Woodbury Church of Christ, 100 East Water Street, Woodbury, TN.
