Most of the cases on the docket in Cannon County Circuit Court Friday (Feb. 25) were continued to a later date.

Chancellor Robert E. Corlew, III served as the presiding judge.

In one case, Terry L. Johnson had his probation revoked and he was remanded to the custody of the Cannon County Sheriff’s Dept. Bond was set at $25,000. Johnson’s next court date is March 21.

John Smith’s petition for unsupervised probation was denied by Chancellor Corlew. However, Smith will be permitted to go out on state on short businesses trips and for family emergencies. Also, his probation fees were waived.

A charge of violation of probation against Clayton Wayne Cochran was dismissed.

Amanda Hollis, charged with violation of probation, was appointed a public defender and scheduled for a hearing on May 12.

Revocation hearings for T.K. McCullough, Johnny Whittemore and Wesley Scott were continued until a later date.
